Every 3 months we head out of Bexley for an Adventure Walk. We have visited many places some of which include Eastbourne, Herne Bay, St Margaret’s at Cliffe, Deal, Rye and the Thames walk from Greenwich to Tower Bridge and back. We offer different meeting points along the route so that the walks are accessible for different levels. We often stop for lunch mid way or after the walk. Below are some of the pictures from the fabulous walks.
The Thames Walk from Greenwich to Tower Bridge with a stop at the Blacksmiths pub for lunch in Rotherhithe and then back on the other side of the Thames and through the foot tunnel returning to Greenwich.
St Margaret’s at Cliffe to Deal – This walk is on the cliff tops in to Kingsdown and then on the path to Deal. A stop at Deal for lunch and then a walk back to St Margaret’s at Cliffe for a well deserved paddle in the sea and an ice cream!
Sovereign Harbour to Eastbourne Pier – A stunning walk along the sea front – when the sun is shining! This particular day it was blowing a gale and pouring with rain but we still had a great day and managed an ice cream at Fusciardi’s ice cream parlour!
Herne Bay to Whitstable – A super walk along the front, this is a popular walk for us as it is mainly flat and we enjoy our fish and chip stop in Whitstable and a square of fudge for pudding from the Fudge stall at the Harbour!
